  • Can’t wait!

Have been testing webcast today and will do it again in the morning again.
this is going to be fun.

  • I’m sure it will, Cris! I’m really excited about this webcasting project of ours. It’s just a great experience to listen what others have to say, to learn from them, to see different perspectives. Then, making this a podcast can certainly open other people’s minds. If we can raise cultural awareness just like we do in the classroom, we are opening doors to more tolerance and understanding.

  • Wow, it sounds so interesting and I wish I could participate but my class today is from 7:30-9:30 and your event is at 8:30 our time in Caracas, right in the middle :-(

I will go later and listen to the webcast.

Michael, BTW, my son is waiting for his visa to go live in Australia. He started the immigration process a year ago and it usually takes two. He can´t wait, has a couple of Venezuelan friends in Sydney and might visit them this summer. I will come back to listen to your Australian view of the world, then ;-)

All the best and what a wonderful idea you guys have come up with.
    Cheers, Berta in Caracas

  • Dear Berta,

We’d love to have you around…Well, we plan to vary the days of the week and the times for our monthly show so that the ones who miss it can have a chance to be there with us in another time.

Australians are so passionate about their country. It’s contagious. I just felt like taking a plane to visit Mike. I was really teletransported to Adelaide with him. Soon, you’ll be able to listen to our podcast.

Your son will love there, I’m sure!

    Besos.

  • Hi Cris and Carla,
I tried to join you, but the chat areas kept on kicking me out:-(
I hope to listen to the recording soon. There is one, right?
    Love,
    Hala

  • Dear Hala,

Yes! Soon we’ll make the podcast available. I’m sorry you couldn’t reach us. It’s a reminder that we should easily post our contact when technical glitches happen. We could simply have skyped you if we knew you were around…Well, it’s the first one. Things will get better! Thanks for your interest.

  • Thanks Carla. I will definitely listen to the podcast when available.
    Cariños, Berta
